DMR: Time Slots and Talkgroups
DMR shares one frequency between two conversations, one in each time slot (TDMA). A radio is programmed with the repeater's color code and, for each slot, the talkgroups to use. A static talkgroup is always linked; a dynamic one links when someone keys up on it and drops after a while.
